Art and being creative has always been a hobby of mine, as a young boy I would spend hours and hours drawing cartoon characters and colouring them in, once finished I would put them in my ring bind folders. I completed hundreds of characters, I set up a little business as a young boy called Crazy Cartoons, which I offered to do wall murals on bedroom walls for children. My favourite piece I completed was of the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, all the characters drawn by hand and painted, the characters were 6ft tall. I carried on drawing and being creative, then school ended and it was time to find a job which would certainly earn me a living throughout my life. So I completed a 4 year plastering apprenticeship, which to me was also being very creative, anyway skip forward to the present day and I have enjoyed my plastering career which took me all over Europe and setting up my own plastering business, whilst always being creative with my art and design. I worked in and around Europe for 7 years, plastering in Holland, Belgium, France and Germany. On my return to the UK I decided to continue my creative side and enrolled on a Be-Tec foundation course in art and design, upon completion I went onto university in Cambridge and completed a 3 year graphic design and photography course and graduated with a 2:2 in July 2000. Sometimes life gets in the way of the things you really want to do and of course you need to earn a living, so I continued plastering and designing and also learnt how to cast statues and make the latex and resin master moulds. Sometimes something happens in life which really gives you a wake up call, a life long friend of mine, a very established and well known artist died quite young in 2020 suddenly. It really gave me the kick start I needed to use all my creative ideas, so from that moment on in my spare time I started drawing and being creative again. So here we are today, I have spent the last year full time in my studio being creative and designing, every piece you see on this site has been designed, by myself.
